sorry for not having kept up, but how are your recitals organised? Are you self-funded, part of a group, where do you put them on and all?

Hello both. At the moment I'm self-funded: I book the hall, choose the programme (with Guy), publicise the hell out of it and charge a moderate admission fee (for this next one, 8 pounds/ 3 pounds concessions)

I started doing these concerts in order to create work for myself (rather than waiting around for others to employ me) and as a way to share songs I love with people who want to hear them. So far I'm pretty pleased with the results.

excellent!

and now I'm doubly sad we can't get to them. It's a wonderful idea, and so far from reading through your posts on it, I get the feeling you are enjoying yourself.

How about a cd of favourites for a modest price for us fans stuck too far away to come? :-)

thanks for 'splainin.
