So I'm thinking of going to the UK Webcomix Thing at Queen Mary and Westfield College in Mile End on Saturday. I go to visit, to schmooze, to hobnob, to blog.

My main motivation for going to this Thing is the presence of John Allison, who does Scary-Go-Round.

So: Londoners, anyone fancy coming with?

Non-Londoners, anything you'd like me to ask John? Or other favourite British webcomicists? The floor is yours.

UPDATE: Looks like Weebl's going to be there too! Note to self: When come back, bring pie.

I was planning to go, but the sand ran out of the (admittedly huge)huge 'visit mother' hourglass in my conscience. So I'll be away for the weekend.

Excuse me, I think I just had a Scary-Go-Round-gasm. I wanna go too!!! I hear Allison's bringing original art to sell-- do you think, if I reimbursed you, you could pick out a nice piece for the Walls of Wa? Anything Weebl-oriented is good too.

By the way, I subjected my work friend Julia to Weebl and Bob, and now I catch her muttering "pie!" under her breath all the time. Muaaa-haa-haa-haa!
