I have had A Good Idea.
I am going out to buy a Halloween pumpkin now, and when I have scooped out the innards and carved out a design, I will not only toast the seeds under the grill but also use the offcuts from the design to make a risotto.
See, it's a decorative object that's also tasty!

UPDATE: This is one of those moments where I regret not having a digital camera. At the supermarket, I found CONJOINED TWIN PUMPKINS. (Looks kind of like an orange butt.) This is going to be the AWESOMEST HALLOWEEN EVER.
