And so to LJ
Oct. 21st, 2006 07:21 pmWell, the eighteenth-century street fair at Borough was great fun! I met many cool people, purchased good food, petted a puppy *and* a ferret, and watched stage combat, masquing and singing.
I was thinking about paniers and corsetry, but in the end I went with male attire-- totally faked and inauthentic, of course. I'm sort of relieved I don't have a digital camera, so that
wyte_phantom,
rosenkavalier and
orkamedies don't see visual proof of how lame I am. I like to think, however, that I made up in attitude and bearing for what my clothing lacked in quality.
As I said to a few people, "At least the syphilis sores are real!"
