Well, I'm back

pallas_athenaSemi-incoherent with jetlag, and rather aghast at the sheer volume of housecleaning that needs to be done before my first student shows up on Monday, but back in one piece.

speedlime, who was kind enough to forsake sleep and drive me to the airport when my taxi failed to show up at stupid o'clock in the morning. I made my flight with moments to spare, and it's all down to her generosity. Speedy, I'm honoured to have you as a friend.
In fact, as I floated into unconsciousness last night, I was thinking how cool it is that so many of the best people in the world, ever, should be friends of mine. You guys make the universe a better place by your being in it. Seriously, you rock.
