so sorry sweetie. It's always hard no matter how it happens.
Recently I started writing thank you letters to the people who have inspired me the most. They are not my teachers so much, as authors etc. I'm doing it for the reasons you talk about in your lovely tribute - because they have given me so much, I want to give them something back, the very least I can offer being my thanks. Of course it's hard to do it without sounding like a total sycophant, but no deserving task doesn't have challenges.
I've been trying to put together a CD for you, the last thing for your parcel. Sorry about the perpetual wait, just horribly busy at work, horribly busy with the Greens stuffm, and horribly tired when it's all done. Lots of bad film watching and vegging. Also Mart moved to Canberra, which is great as she has a job at the National Library and at least I go to Canberra quite a bit for work, but also very sad as my best friend has now left the state. So I've been a bit blue too.

Thinking of you often and always.
