Argh! LJ *keeps* losing my replies to this. Very annoying!
Trying again:
Nick and I (and hopefully Jenny) will be heading to Sam's in the early afternoon or so, for sitting in his garden and generally rejoicing time. If you're free to join us and would like to, that would be smashing. :-) Failing that, one of us will give you a text in the afternoon when we know when we'll be heading to the venue area.
Cake-wise... firstly you are *fabulous*. Secondly, Sam can't usually eat sugar, which makes this a bit tricky. Your best bet (unless you know an easy source of cakes sweetened with honey or agave syrup, or can get one with a very high coconut* content...) may be something savoury that's also nommable and birthday-ish. Anything that doesn't involve peanut butter, chilli or white rice is likely to go down well. ;-)
*I don't fully understand this, but apparently coconut lowers the GI of food that contains it. Sam could explain better. :-)
