Hi all. Two of my columns have been posted over at blueyonder: Weird British Traditions and Dictators on the Net.

Special bonus dictator: I didn't have the wordspace to cover Teodoro Obiang Nguema, President of Equatorial Guinea. As that link says, he's declared himself to be in permanent contact with God, so "He can decide to kill without anyone calling him to account and without going to hell because it is God himself, with whom he is in permanent contact, and who gives him this strength."

God, however, cannot protect him from the Condi Rice death-stare. OK, caption contest time! Have fun.
