Over on Corsetmakers, they've linked to the cover picture of what's apparently a major fashion magazine, though I'd never heard of it.

1) You do not put oil all over someone you're going to put in an antique corset. Seriously, it looks like they're planning to deep-fry her.

2) That's a breastfeeding corset. On a teenaged model.

3) It doesn't fit her.

4) She's wearing it UPSIDE DOWN.

Oh, don't sack the stylist-- we need more laughs like this.

Hey Lady. How was Gianni?? Were you mahvelous? Off the topic of today's post: I have a date for my recital. It will be March 27th. So, let's talk about later dates for a duet recital. I know I can't do May 30th and that weekend because I have to be out of town. Otherwise, let's look at the calendar, shall we? I also spoke to someone at a church downtown who is interested in getting more musical events there - First Trinity Church, at E and 14th. Anyway, they are getting back to me about it.

Hello lovely. Gianni was exhausting but satisfying, and even though it made my life hell I sort of miss it. (There are some extremely silly pictures up on Facebook.)

That church sounds like a good lead! My situation is: I've got a concert on Feb 14th, one on April 26th and one in early May... so it looks like we'd be looking at end of May or early June? How is that time of year for you? I don't have a summer job lined up so far, so summer is a flexible-ish time for me.

End of May or early June could work out perfectly. I will let you know what I find out from the church, and I'll investigate some other leads...
