A chamber group I sang with did a whole set of Purcell's bawdy catches. Great fun.

I love those catches! It amuses me to no end that most of Purcell's surviving works are either holy or filthy. Or both.

I actually came here to leave a message and have now ended up buying the CD. *Shakes fist!* I do have a weakness for the bawdy.

Anyway, the message! I think I left my dodgy green framed sunglasses at your place. If you find them can you lay them aside for me? They're cheap as chips but I sort of love them.

Yes, I have them! I thought they were Lily's initially. They're in the kitchen; I'll keep them till the next event we're both at.

Oh and also: YAY for Restoration filth. One of the tenor soloists on the CD is my former voice teacher Ian Partridge, so I also have a sort of sentimental attachment to it.
