Time out for brain massage

Researching this week's column is bending my brain. I'm venturing into the web space of some seriously wacked-out people, and there's a point where it ceases to be humour column material.

Can we talk about clothes and science fiction for five minutes? please?

Actually... scrap Buck.. that was late 70s, although the outfits were still rather interesting and weird..

Yeah, the old Star Trek had some great costumes... basically anything meant to look futuristic or alien was extremely silly, especially (as you say) the women's outfits. Steel bikinis ahoy!

I wonder how comfy one of those would be... would be fun trying... although I do prefer one piece swimsuits. Just don't lock me in it!!

The original Batman TV series had some curious outfits but not to the extent of Trek...although speaking of Trek, half the costumes in all the series were quite weird.

Well, that is true. I remember some of the villains' costumes in Batman: truly awesome.

I'll go hunting for pics on Google later and knock up some sort of collage if you like. *curtsies* How's the massage going?

Trust me. Steel bikinis are never as comfy as they look.

What? I've got layers...
