Orks on a plane

After a few enjoyable evenings of pizza and monster movies, speedlime and I waved farewell to orkamedies this afternoon at Dulles airport. There was a technical fault* with the BA plane he was supposed to be on, so they got him onto a United flight which actually left an hour earlier. When was the last time screwups at the airport led to you saving time rather than wasting it??? Jammy Ork. I hope the rest of the flight went well and he got home safely.

Afterwards, speedlime and I dropped in at the lovely jessicamelusine's for red beans and rice as prepared by somewanker. An evening of good eats and bad jokes; a splendid time had by all.

Typing this on Speedlime's computer, listening to the crickets outside. I'll miss DC's six-legged night singers when I'm back in scuzzy London.
